Robby Baker Memorial Scholarship La Cueva High School (LCHS)
2010 Recipient--Clayton Merritt
The Robby Baker Scholarship Fund was established by Robby’s family in 2003. Robby loved to ski and found that skiing helped his self-confidence as he dealt with the challenges of dyslexia.
One $750 scholarship is awarded annually to a LCHS graduating senior who has a language learning or other reading disability.
Additional Criteria:
- Applicants must be coping with dyslexia or other reading disability
- Minimum cumulative GPA 2.0
- Attend a community college, college, university or nonprofit technical school part or full time
Additional required attachments:
- Up to two references from teachers and/or counselors.
