Three New Scholarship Programs

The Foundation now manages 15 scholarship programs.

The Albuquerque Community Foundation announces three new scholarship programs for 2012.  The Foundation now manages 15 scholarship programs aimed at helping New Mexico students attain their educational goals.  Each program was established by a generous individual or family with individual interests and priority areas.  They represent the broad diversity of those who care about education and believe it is the best way to give back to future generations. 

New Programs: 
Andrew Piech Memorial Scholarship
will be awarded to Albuquerque-area high school seniors pursuing an automotive or technical vocational career.  No Minimum GPA.  Award: Up to $1,000.

David R. Woodling Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to N.M. high school or continuing education students interested in Metals Technology.  For students in pursuit of a certificate or degree in a metals technology program.  No Minimum GPA.  Award: $500-$1,000. 

James Ledwith Memorial Scholarship Fund for Albuquerque-area high school seniors who have overcome extraordinary life challenge.  No Minimum GPA. Award: Up to $1,000.
