Grant Awards to Continue Despite Drop In Endowment

Albuquerque Community Foundation is continuing to issue grants despite losses to the value of its endowment. However, grants will be less than in previous years.

Randy Royster, the organization’s Executive Director, said the decline in financial markets has reduced the Foundation’s endowment, but because of a spending policy based on a twelve quarter average balance, funds are still available for grantmaking.
