Concours du Soleil-NM’s Premier Auto Event
31/08/2009Each year in September, a parade of collector automobiles arrives in Los Ranchos and pauses for what has become the most exciting automotive event in New Mexico.
Concours du Soleil showcases prized autos displayed on the grounds of a private estate on Guadalupe Trail Northwest.
The 2-day event begins at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19 with a private gala that includes a preview of the autos, a splendid buffet dinner and dancing. Gala tickets are $150 and must be purchased in advance at (505)883-6240.
The public show is Sunday, September 20, gates are open 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. $10. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
A fun addition to the show is a raffle for a coveted Rolex Daytona Cosmograph valued at $10,000 donated by Beauchamp Jewelers. Tickets are $100 or 6 for $500 and can be purchased at www.SeeHotCars.com or by calling 505.883.6240. The winner does not need to be present to win.
Concours du Soleil is a community fundraiser. All proceeds benefit local charities including the Community Foundation, All Faiths Receiving Home the Children’s Cancer Fund and NM Appleseed.
