SELECTED ACF COMPETITIVE GRANT AWARDS

Albuquerque Community Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life in the greater Albuquerque area by providing support for projects and organizations which serve the Albuquerque community in arts and culture, children and youth, education, environmental and historic preservation, health, and human services.

Through endowment funds and community grant programs, the Foundation supports projects that are innovative, meet the needs of underserved segments of the community, encourage matching funds or additional gifts, promote cooperation among agencies, empower the disadvantaged and disabled, and enhance the effectiveness of local charitable organizations.

ACF also distributes close to $900,000 annually on behalf of donor-advisors who have individual funds and who initiate grant awards from these funds to nonprofit organizations in all fields of interest.
