Visionary Fund
The Albuquerque Community Foundation exists today because of the extraordinary generosity and vision of our founders. Together, they planted a seed by establishing an endowment that has continued to grow and provide an enduring source of funding for our community’s ever-changing needs. As is often the case with important visionary acts, no one could have predicted the combined impact of the nearly 400 funds created over the past 30 years. In total, those funds have invested more than $30 million back into our community.
In celebration of our 30th Anniversary we created the Visionary Fund to recognize the forsight of our founders and first trustees. Generous donors contributed a minimum of $1,000 to grow this $100,000 fund. The fund will make a grant each year to a visionary nonprofit organization.
From the very beginning, the story of the Foundation has been a story of relationships with caring and generous individuals and families who want the best for their community. That tradition continues today.
