Maggie’s Giving Circle

image

A giving circle is a pooled fund that makes grants to benefit the community. Members of the circle pool their time, talent, and resources to impact social change.

Maggie’s Giving Circle members listen to presentations from grant recipients.Giving Circles make philanthropy accessible to people who are at different income levels and stages of their careers and lives.

Each member of the Circle is required to give a predetermined contribution to the group each year.

The dollars are pooled with the Foundation’s other funds, and the income from the investment is distributed in grants. Members then determine where those grant dollars will go each year.

Giving Circle members volunteer for nonprofit organizations.
