Grantee Information: Reporting and Publicity Guidelines
All grant recipients from the competitive grant program must report on the expenditure of grant funds and the results of the supported project. Any funds not expended for the specific purpose of the grant must be returned to the Foundation and cannot be diverted to other uses without the express approval of the Foundation.

Publicity Guidelines for Communicating Your Grant
The Foundation is able to award grants because generous people have established endowment funds with us. We encourage our grantees to publicize their grants to recognize the Albuquerque Community Foundation and the donor (when applicable) whose fund helped to make the grant possible.
Publicity also helps you spread the word about your organization’s role in the community. Identifying the Albuquerque Community Foundation as a source of support may lend even more credibility to your efforts.
The following guidelines are intended to assist you in communicating your grant from the Albuquerque Community Foundation. (Please forward this information to the person in your organization responsible for publications and publicity.)
1. Include news of your grant in any publications you produce for distribution.
This includes news releases, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, board minutes, etc. All publicity mentioning support from the Community Foundation should refer to the specific fund named in your grant letter. For example, “A grant was received from the Jane Doe Memorial Fund of the Albuquerque Community Foundation.”
2. Albuquerque Community Foundation logo.

2. Digital Photos.
We do everything we can to promote our grant recipients. Our website, annual report and newsletters always include photos from grant recipients. We ask you to email photos, along with a description of what the photo is portraying, to mailto:kcooper@albuquerquefoundation.org
3. Window Decal.
With your grant payment you may have received a window decal announcing you are a Albuquerque Community Foundation Grant Recipient. We ask that you display the decal in a prominent place.
4. Put the Albuquerque Community Foundation on your PR mailing list.
We appreciate receiving copies of news releases and newsletter articles mentioning the Albuquerque Community Foundation as well as any newspaper articles mentioning you have received funding from us. Please send copies to:
