Youth Entrepreneurial Leadership Through Urban Farming

image

Teaching children about urban farming while instilling hopes and dreams of future success.

The ultimate goal of this grant is to engage 20 student leaders in Southeast Albuquerque to teach and mentor kids in this area to stay in school, create a goal to graduate and inspire them to dream big through a variety of projects in urban farming. Some of which will include, vegetable gardening, beekeeping, raising chickens and producing salable products from recycled materials. This project is an expansion of the work East Central Ministries has been doing with students for the past two years.
