Watermelon Mountain Ranch
A grant was awarded to Watermelon Mountain Ranch to continue a program involving at-risk teens and animals.
Teens in the program walk dogs, clean kennels and spend time with councilors learning how to be caring toward all living things, large and small. They are also involved in showing the animals at adoptions sites. Participants in the program take pride in their involvement and also learn the value of compassion and responsibility.
