05/05/2010

The annual award honors an Albuquerque Public School teacher who demonstrates a love for and quality in teaching high school language arts.  “Modern fiction is my favorite genre because I love losing myself in another world. Reading it forces me into a student’s role as I try to assess character motivation and plot while appreciating the author’s use of language ,” states Ms. Chase who received a $2,500 cash award.
