The 30,000 Great Grant Giveaway became the $34,000 Giveaway because the event topped out with 100 more people than expected. 5 nonprofit organizations within the Foundation’s 2013 Impact Focus Area were preselected to receive grants. After a brief video describing the work of those nonprofits, the guests at each table deliberated on which organization to award their $500 grant.
